Sacred Ceremonies

Sacred ceremonies are a way to honour life passages and important personal events: a new beginning, a life changing event, or an ending. These ceremonies include:

 

Handfastings, a blessed union of a couple as witnessed by the community of family and friends

Birthing/naming ceremonies - blessings to welcome a new soul into the family

Coming of age - a celebration of a young person’s move into adulthood

Sage/Crone celebration – a move into respected older age and wisdom

House blessings – a ceremony to cleanse and bless a new home

Funerals and death rites – ceremonies to honour our loved ones and their passing

 

All of these are rites of passage, ceremonies that are a way for us to connect with the sacred.

 

At Sacred Shrouding we provide a full range of services to help you create beautiful ceremonies and rituals and we will work closely with you to create a beautiful ceremony, which honours the significant rite of passage. We are inclusive of all spiritual beliefs.
